Business Development Executive (Inbound + Outbound)
Triage inbound leads (we get ~40/month). Write outbound to mid-size manufacturers in NCR + Punjab. You'll set up the first call; the partners close.

You'll handle the top of our funnel. Inbound: triage the ~40 leads/month coming from /free-homepage-design, /contact, /get-started, referrals. Qualify them, schedule discovery calls, send the brief summary. Outbound: write thoughtful first-touch messages to mid-size manufacturers in NCR + Punjab (we have a list of 600 we want to talk to). You'll be measured on quality of qualified meetings booked, not on volume.
This is a great role for someone 1–3 years out of college who wants real exposure to how a small studio's business actually works.
What you'll do
- Triage every inbound lead within 4 working hours. Qualify with 5 specific questions. Schedule a 30-min discovery call with one of the partners.
- Write outbound to the target customer list. 15 customised, well-researched first-touch messages per week. No spray-and-pray, no LinkedIn DM templates.
- Maintain the CRM + lead-stage health. Weekly report to the partners on pipeline.
- Sit in on every discovery call you booked. Take notes. Write the follow-up summary.
- Identify patterns in the inbound + outbound — what's working, what isn't. Bring suggestions to the weekly Monday review.
You should have
- 1+ years of B2B sales / BD experience (agency, services, SaaS, anywhere with real outbound).
- Strong written English. Your outbound has to read as written by a person, not a template.
- Curious about businesses. You enjoy figuring out what an SMB does and what their actual problems are.
- Honest. We don't want a sales-y person. We want someone who can have a normal conversation with a Faridabad manufacturer about their website.
Nice to have (not required)
- Background in any operational role at a manufacturer / distributor / mid-size business.
- Comfortable with Notion + Linear + simple CRMs (we use HubSpot Starter).
- Some understanding of what web development actually involves.
About the team you'll join
You'll report to one of the partners directly. There's currently no other BD person — you'll define this function.
Specific to this role
- Variable comp: ₹50k per signed engagement, capped at 2 per quarter for fairness. Historically average BDEs make 1.5x base.

- Take-home — You pick 3 companies from a target list, write the outbound email for each, and tell us why you picked them. 2–3 hours, ₹3000.
- Half-day on-site — Sit in on 2 real discovery calls + role-play one with us.
