Senior Product Designer
Lead design across customer projects — discovery, IA, UI, prototyping, handoff. You'll set the bar for what 'good' looks like on every site we ship.

You'll be our second senior designer, working alongside the design lead on every customer project from discovery through launch. You'll own visual + interaction design for 2–3 projects at a time, run user research when it matters, build + maintain the design system we reuse across customers, and review every shipping design before it goes to engineering.
Most of our customers are Indian SMBs — manufacturers, distributors, healthcare networks, retail chains. Their audiences are buyers in Faridabad, Indore, Surat, Bengaluru — not designers in Brooklyn. You'll need to design for that. We don't do generic 'startup landing page' work.
What you'll do
- Lead design end-to-end on 2–3 customer projects at a time. Discovery → IA → visual + interaction → handoff to engineering.
- Run focused user research when the project warrants it. Customer interviews, competitive audits, usability tests — not for show.
- Build + maintain our shared design system in Figma. Components, tokens, do-not-deviate rules.
- Review every shipping design (yours + the other designer's) before engineering picks it up.
- Talk to customers during discovery + design reviews. Translate constraints into design decisions and back.
- Mentor a junior designer. Pair on hard problems, give feedback weekly, defend their work in customer reviews when it's right.
You should have
- 5+ years designing digital products. At least 2 of those leading projects end-to-end.
- Strong Figma. You build proper component libraries with auto-layout, variants, and clean tokens.
- Strong typography. You know why one typeface is better than another for an Indian SMB e-commerce site and can defend it.
- Comfortable across IA, UX writing, visual design, prototyping. We're a small team — you'll do all of it.
- Can read code well enough to write a useful handoff doc. (You don't need to code yourself, but you should know HTML/CSS basics.)
- Portfolio of shipped work — preferably Indian or India-relevant projects.
Nice to have (not required)
- Worked at an agency / studio before (you'll know the pace).
- Done some content strategy — you can write the copy yourself for an early-stage layout, not just box-out placeholders.
- Familiar with web accessibility (WCAG basics) at the design level.
- Have run or facilitated a customer workshop.
About the team you'll join
You'll be working with our design lead (8 years experience, ex-McKinsey Digital), a mid-level designer, and the engineering team described above. We meet for design crits twice a week.
Specific to this role
- Adobe + Figma + Linear + Notion org licenses, plus any small tool budget you ask for.
- Annual design conference of your choice (Config, Awwwards, DesignUp, etc.).
How we'll hire
- 30-min intro call — Design lead. Walk through your portfolio.
- Paid design exercise — 6–8 hours scoped honestly. ₹10000 for completing it. We give you a real (anonymised) past customer brief and you redesign one screen.
- Half-day on-site — Present your exercise. Crit one of our existing customer projects together. Lunch with the team.
- Reference + offer — Decision within 5 working days. Full comp band shared.
